![]() Here, pretty emerald-hued subway tiles frame an expansive wrap-around display cabinet that is brimming with the ocean’s bounty – from bright blue Western Australian live marron and freshly steamed Southern crayfish through to king crabs and calamari. From the moment you step foot inside Miami Fish Market, it’s clear that this is not your average fishmonger. Opening its doors just prior to the Gold Coast’s week-long lockdown, the brand-new venue is the handiwork of longtime locals and seafood aficionados Paul Gloftis and Craig Warren – the latter of the two has spent time working in the Japanese fish markets and farms. Miami Fish Market has changed the game with a seriously upscaled (pun intended) offering that is guaranteed to ignite your curiosity for creatures of the deep. Up until now, most of the real high-end seafood – the kind you see gracing menus at the coast’s fine-dining institutions – has been reserved for chefs and restaurant owners. Miami Fish Market’s incredible range of responsibly sourced seafood from Australia and New Zealand (as well as some show-stopping selections from abroad) will have you salivating in seconds. ![]() Transforming a former factory into an underwater wonderland, this upmarket retail space will satisfy your penchant for prawns, lust for lobster and cravings for crustaceans. The Gold Coast’s seafood scene has well and truly levelled up with the opening of brand-new superlative supplier Miami Fish Market. For every person added on if you’re not splitting a check, it’s doubled.Share Cure your craving for crustaceans at the Gold Coast’s newest seafood supplier, Miami Fish Market For one person depending on what you like you might spend less and $125 (MAYBE) I usually spend about $80 dollars. Waitresses and waiters are sweet, kind, and very respectful. Let say you wanted brisk or a sprite you have to buy two cans to satisfy you. With the drink situation, unlike other seafood places where you can get unlimited refills, you have to consistently buy the soft drink. As for the atmosphere, it’s chill, not to loud, and is very clean, it’s like if Target made a seafood baby. Another thing, the chocolate cake with ice cream-when I came the first couple of times, it was absolutely delicious but over the years it’s taken a wrong turn and it’s not even good anymore. If YOU want to go and add it to your boil that’s up to you. Now that’s a waste and I advise no one to buy it unless they (Cajun Boil) change that. I can not make this up, 5 pieces, literally 1-2-3-4-5 pieces of sausage and they are not 5 thick pieces of sausage, 5 little thin slices of the meat that you barely could see under that sauce. However, one thing I will say that is ridiculous and I absolutely HATE-which is a waste of your money is the amount of “sausages” they give out as an add on. The ultimate sauce is amazing, words can not describe the flavors in my mouth. I’ve been going here for three years straight for seafood, the flavors never changed and it is amazing. 1 star because the hostess was super friendly! ![]() It's of note that this place seems to be owned and operated by Asians, and the cuisine they're cooking just may be outside of they're expertise. It was unexplainable and not posted anywhere.I would not go back here again. They also included a random service fee on every check. I see all the garlic bits but there was no garlic flavor. Pricing is hugely imbalanced: $3/add on (corn, sausage (5 die cut slices), broccoli, potatoes, egg, etc) $35/1lb of crabs. Boil "sauce" became cold and congealed as we sat there trying to eat. The boil flavors are not balanced, it does not taste right. Sauce is only on the outside, and it's super messy. The crab clusters we're not properly tempered, meat was cold. The boil "sauce" is thick, like flour is added. The seafood rice alone was $18! That's insane. Fried rice was delicious! Broccoli was perfectly steamed and fresh!Cons - everything is added separately at an additional price. This place is radically expensive.Pros - outstanding customer service, seafood rice is tasty, they offer green veggies for your boil.
